As we’ve talked about before, Fluidmaster has a long history with racing and engines. That’s why we’re very excited to tell you that Fluidmaster will sponsoring Matt Kenseth’s #17 Roush Fenway Ford in Saturday night’s Bank of America 500 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The race will be broadcast live on ABC with coverage beginning at 7 pm EST. A scale-model of the car is even available for pre-order from Brickel’s Racing Collectibles.
Kenseth currently sits fifth in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Standings after four Chase races (NASCAR’s version of a playoff, for those who don’t watch the sport), just 12 points back of the lead. The Charlotte race will mark the halfway point of the Chase, so a good finish should keep Kenseth right in the hunt going into the last five races of the season. Kenseth already has two wins this year, and is going for his second Series Championship.
Part of the reason for the sponsorship is to announce the launch of our new dual flush valve, the DuoFlush (which I'll talk about more in the coming months). But it is also to get the Fluidmaster name out there so that, when you install a Fluidmaster product in your customer's home, they know who we are and that you're using the best parts possible.
It’s very exciting for us to sponsor not just a Sprint Cup car, but the car of one of the premier drivers in NASCAR, and we want to share that excitement with you.
